Clients experiencing chronic stress can be left feeling exhausted, anxious, frustrated, and discouraged. Cultivating Presence and Compassion for Coaches offers structured lessons and guided practice about nervous system basics; research-backed, compassion-based mindfulness interventions; and how to use strategies and tools to cultivate positive intrapersonal and interpersonal dialogue (including motivation, self-trust, and self-efficacy). The curriculum will address both mindful presence and compassion as a provider, as well as how to incorporate the knowledge effectively in individual and group sessions.
Modules are offered asynchronously. Registration includes a private 30-minute coaching session with faculty, Whitney Wilkerson, to support integration.
Lectures, guided practices, and an integration session will bring the research and tools in this mind/body curriculum to life. At the conclusion of the series, participants will:

Participants will pass a 4 question post-test after each module demonstrating knowledge with a score of 75% or higher.
